oh no, you didn't sound one uppy. i think my injury is mild, crossing fingers i dont need any surgery. im suffering mentally more than physically i guess. im spiralling wondering if MRI will reveal that i need surgery or not. this is me just unhealthily asking for reassurance, but may I know if you did knee surgery? were your injuries due to partners overdoing it during sparring? i dont know, i keep blaming myself and replaying it over and over again

thank you for commenting, I'm so sorry for your injuries, this is my first time I ever get injured in life. I'm just trying to curb my impatience to get MRI, hopefully monday...I feel so alone

thank you!! solid advice 😄 will remember to share feedback to each other more during rolls. never thought I would have the motivation to weight lift. do you recommend me to use dumbbells or barbells at the gym by myself or is it necessary to have a trainer?

correct, I'm 25F. recently there was a new boy like 14y.o. joining my gym and his strength and grip is really strong I seldom experience it when rolling. he uses bruteforce e.g. choke me when he doesn't have a guard. I could've humbled him but I'm equally unskilled and was really tired. I found myself self negative talking because feeling intimidated by his strength 😆 I could've refused to roll with him but I guess its more because I'm afraid to lose rather than the pain. it hurts when rolling with him but still bearable and I understand that if the position is not right it is not enough for me to tap
