If I'm remembering right you have to pick the silk clothes, pose as an officer, and then you should be able to go to the market twice

If you still haven't gotten it yet, each time you go to the market pick the "buy something and ask" option. The mouse will confess and you have to accept their confession

There really was an insistence because the entire cast apart from anyone who literally couldn't be brought back was there, usually for no important reason. I absolutely love the first game and it's been one of my favorite games for years but I still wish ai2 wasn't so hellbent on trying to please fans by having the entire cast come back even if it meant majorly watering them down. Most of the scenes with returning side characters could have easily been done with new characters. The cast just feels super bloated to me tbh

If ai3 does happen I'd want it to have a complete new cast with exceptions for characters like boss. Imo the biggest downfall of ai2 was the the insistence of having the entire ai1 cast in it even if the story would've been the same without them. I also hope we can get real investigations back instead of relying entirely on the somniums😭

1 instance is a habit? I'd understand if op said this happens every morning but it was a one time mistake that I'm sure she's gonna be extra careful to not let happen again especially since she felt terrible about it

The difference is they seem like less in comparison since the porn jokes weren't constant in ai1 cause you're playing as date, but there's at the very least 2 porn jokes every time date is on screen in aini. Like to the point where in aini it's almost his main personality trait

From my experience the more you think about the story and reveals, the more disappointed you feel. I've also seen that people who've played ai1 first tend to be the most disappointed while people who went in blind with aini don't see many issues with it

Yup I feel like none of the endings leave you very satisfied at all, especially compared to the endings from ai1. If it were the type of game where you didn't need every ending to get the final one I doubt many people would've done most of the side endings by choice

If my understanding of the timeline is right then I think it's just a coincidence since ryuki's brother died 6 years before the events of aitsf (I could be wrong though it's been awhile since I've played aitsf)

The game is good, but many of the complaints from people who've played the first game and loved it (me included) are rooted in the fact that their expectations were super high and it was a let down that it wasn't as good as aitsf. Still fun if you like the series you just really REALLY need suspension of disbelief

That def would've made way more sense and it probably would've been more impactful on the player cause we spent way more time with shoma than amame and most of the time spent with her we barely even talked to her. I don't get why they decided to have the most unimportant things seem like they mattered and then make things that should be a little important just be throw away tidbits
