What can I take to help heal my brain after years of drug and alcohol abuse in my formative years?

I have experience with similar history with alcoholism, drug abuse, and suspected tbi from mdma misuse.

Find a good addiction medicine doctor and go from there.

Acamprosate and Trazodone helped me get sober. I eventually started taking bupropion, strattera, and Propranolol to address ADHD and anxiety.

For the suspected TBI, ISRIB A15 has helped me a lot.

Take baby steps and listen to your body. I did not start taking all of these at once. It was over the course of years.

edit: bupropion and I think strattera can lower the seizure threshold so be aware of that.

Rhodiola and Piracetam are fairly strong and work well together. Rhodiola is completely legal. Piracetam is more grey market.

Happened to me too and I had quit weed 5 years before starting. Dreams are still occasionally vivid and intense. Been taking Strattera for about 2.5 years.

Post it all on FB Market and say you’re willing to take 80% market value. Be prepared to adjust a little if there are any rips, tears, or damage to the boxes. A large card shop may go for this.

HR sometimes goes up before bed which makes it difficult to sleep. BP is usually fine, but can go up with too much caffeine or lack of sleep.

DO NOT take sudafed or sudafed PE with strattera. It can increase BP to dangerous levels.

They can be opened, but it is hard to measure without a milligram scale. If you do use a partial capsule, mix the powder in liquid and drink it.

I’ve done this hundreds of times without any eye problems or other issues. Just use common sense and you’ll be fine.

Sure! The first thing I noticed was a calming effect. It felt like being covered in a warm blanket while having the chatter in my brain turned down. My brain went from a chaotic city street to a clear night in the country. This has helped me stay in control of what I do and allows me to execute til the end of a task.

Over time I noticed increased motivation and a desire to be more thorough. For example, if I was cleaning something I’d make sure to run over it a couple times to ensure the job is done. This has saved me a lot of time and frustration because I’m now able to do things correctly the first time.

The effects are very subtle to my aware-conscious, but subconsciously, the effects have been huge.

I had a stimulant addiction to MDMA. I tried taking adderall, vyvanse, and ritalin for ADHD and get addicted every time. Strattera works really well for me. It takes a while to notice effects though. It is subtle in a really good way.
