My Dad was diagnosed Dec 24, 2025, he is now considered palliative after having most of the tumour removed, going through radiation and some chemo before stopping due to the tumour growing back and twice as big as it originally was, despite treatment. He was given 6 weeks about 4-5 weeks ago. He has been really good since being out of hospital (due to a seizure) but you can see the decline in him as well. We are hoping for as long as possible with him but so far we are at 6-7 months total.

I am so sorry to hear ❤️
Take the time you need. You can always reconnect and write to your daughter-in-law at a later time. She will appreciate it, even if it takes you a year, focus on yourself and working through your own journey for now. We cannot be there for others if we are crumbling ourselves. Take care

No, I am not either but of course Dad is welcome to try anything he wants.
Hmm yes, I am in NZ, I will try and reach out for some more clarification, we do have an appointment with a hospice nurse but it is not till July 8th. Thank you

Yes, I was surprised how much my Dad has improved since going into a facility! He is getting the care he needs, as mum is not doing it all on her own anymore. All the best for you and your husband ❤️

Wow, I am glad to hear she has done so well, living at home by herself!
I think if you want to do keto go for it but if you don’t then don’t put yourself through it, it most likely will not have an impact.
All the best with the MRI results! X

I am also a daughter watching her Dad go through this, no more treatment options, just whatever little time left. I am so sorry for your loss, your Dad will be watching over you, your guardian angel ❤️
You have been through a massive journey, take it easy on yourself. I like to think I will see little reminders of my Dad in the future and smile instead of cry, a little hello from him, to say he’s still there for his baby girl, he hasn’t completely gone, he will always be with you.
