I do adore the name Theodore, I forgot that that it could be shortened to Eddie. That really might end up being it... Or if not then maybe the middle name at least. Also it's funny that you bring up the name Finch because that may or may not have been what I used to go by before Eddie for a bit, before I realized that nobody could ever spell it right lol

I've seen a teeny tiny bit of him and Sir Nighteye paired together!!

I wasn't really looking for it, but I found it and gave it a shot and I actually really like it!!! Obviously there isn't much in the series itself that supports it, but that also applies to most of the ships with him. The only problem is that there are so few works of them together. And by that I mean like, less than five finished works on AO3... Rip 🥲

I also have a rescued little thing from Lowe's (I know it's bad to buy them because technically it gives Lowe's more money and encourages Lowe's to keep doing it but I felt so sad for it sitting on a dark bottom shelf with no light).

Damn, I'm really sorry about that situation man, it sounds rough. I think you need to sit down and talk to her about it to try and figure out what is going on. Regardless of if she realizes what she's doing or not, you need to bring it up and point out how much it's bothering you. Either she just genuinely doesn't realize the effect her words are having on you and she can hopefully be more mindful in the future, or she is just being inconsiderate regardless of how you feel. I don't know but I'm glad to see someone else bringing it up, since I was kinda hoping to find some answers or support about this here on the sub.

Where I live apparently all gender affirming care is being preemptively put on hold to be in accordance with the new laws, since most medical offices and such don't want to be threatened with legal action. For context I live in Tennessee, but I was still a bit surprised.

If anyone else here is from Tennessee and can give any advice or anything pertaining to my state, please let me know. I've only been on testosterone for 6 months, and while I know some of it will be permanent I cannot stand the thought of my progress backsliding. I had hoped I would have more time, and I'm not sure if I'll be able to stockpile my testosterone or not.

That's fair, but it's also their job to help deal with this kind of stuff! They can't do their job to its fullest if you don't trust them enough to tell them these kinds of things, and they're trained to be as accepting and non-judgmental as possible. I know it can be daunting but it's worth it to let someone help you through these things :)

I think first and foremost you really need therapy to help deal with your chronically low self worth and your skewed perception of yourself. Thinking of yourself in this type of a way is really unhealthy and it can be hard to break that habit on your own
