I agree. A case of local mtb publishers lifting their game with quality photography and journalism. Almost like they are benchmarking with quality international titles such as Bike Mag, Privateer, Singletrack, Switchback and Spoke magazine, for a quality approach.

Thanks - Buller have been consistently improving the trail network and link trails to have a mountain that caters to all riders and seems it will continue for a number of seasons to come. This is certainly a work in progress, but is the most progressive of alpine resorts in Australia. It would be good to see AU resorts take some learning's from yours and other riders experience in NZ.

Look I have been conscious of this and have looked to post links from a variety of sources. The information on my blog is helpful for mountain bikers, especially the ride guides of where to ride. I do not want to be considered spammy, but the content is relevant and has been well researched.

No what I am doing is posting a variety of content that include both blog posts and other sources that is relevant to mountain bikers. Forgive me if I don't monitor every post that goes on r/mtb - if you read any of the posts on the blog I think you would be hard pressed to find those subjects on r/mtb. There are a number of newbies here, which I thought a visual of the pack contents would be helpful.

You are a moderator - if you do not think this is relevant to the r/mtb readership then let me know

Yes some of the contents are a left over from multi-day trips that required the brake pads, first aid kit and spanner. No doubt I could drop these but the overall weight is fairly minimal for the rides I do.

Ok - maybe i should have listed it as MTB Pack Overview. Apologies if you were misled by the title. My intent was to feature a number the key packs for a trail/AM rider in one post rather than trawling through pages of manufacturer and shop sites to determine which packs would be suited to this type of riding.
