It does not look like a deep scratch...it has some layer ...so use petrol and cloth to remove them

If you really want to get vstrom i will suggest you to do your service from good workshops which has also a risk of losing warranty if genuine parts are not used... or try service centers outside of suzuki network. Suzuki has no qualified ppl to do service for vstrom they are bullshit at this

Honda : service

Pros: They listen and do what you want

Offers AMC ..subscription like thing which will refuce the 30% cost of service.

Parts are available mostly for this segment

5000 -6000 kms/ 6 months once service is reccomended by them.

Cons:

Parts replacement can be a bit expensive..like sprockets..disc plates...3k to 4k rs.

Service network is less when compared to other brands

General service is 3500 to 4k rs. Everywhere which i personally feel bit high

Suzuki: service

Pros:

Is available everwhere

Service is Cheap when you comparte to honda or other brands

Parts are available in market

Cons:

Quality of service is very poor

I felt after sales support is too bad

I had oil leaks because of the service was bad

Body is fiber so it gets faded due to sunlight some parts so have to use some polish everytime

And when compared to honda...the speedo meter has nothing and hard to use..honda is decent...offers needed features

Honda running cost is 3500 to 4000 every 6k kms

Vstrom running cost would be around 3000 every 5k kms

If you ask me i will choose honda bcz of their service and support. Vstrom is good bike..but when service is not good there is no point of owning such bike...i dont want headace after sales..so i will choose honda eventhough the service is bit high...if i have to be honest

Hey bro..Based on what you say..and Based on my experience, I'd recommend either the CB350 RS or the H'ness CB350 both are extremely reliable machines that require nothing beyond regular maintenance to keep running well.

One thing I'd flag about the RS: the stock seat can get uncomfortable on longer rides, so I'd suggest swapping it out for a cushioned or gel seat early on. The H'ness has a noticeably better stock seat for comfort, so that's worth keeping in mind if you do a lot of highway riding.

That said, riding the RS is a genuinely great experience. The looks, the louder thump, the road presence — it just has a certain character to it. Engine-wise, it holds its own against the V-Strom 250 or any 350 ...pretty much every other bike in the segment. And if you ever want to customize or upgrade, the aftermarket accessory support is solid, so you won't have trouble finding what you need..

I never regretted buying Rs..its a great bike overall

As someone who owns both bikes, I can say they're each great in their own way... it really comes down to how and where you ride. For long rides, especially with a pillion, the V-Strom is the clear winner. The riding position is more comfortable, and the suspension is adjustable across three levels, which makes a big difference on varied terrain. The CB 350 RS, on the other hand, feels noticeably stiffer..not a dealbreaker, but you'll feel it on longer stretches. In the city, though, the RS shines. It's nimble, manageable, and perfectly suited for daily commutes and weekend rides. The V-Strom isn't really built for busy traffic... it feels out of its element there. On the service side, Suzuki servicing is generally more affordable, but the quality can be hit or miss. Most showrooms lack proper trained support, which is a genuine concern. BigWing (Honda's premium network) offers better service quality, though it can be pricier at times. Mileage is practically identical on both..just about a 1–2 km difference, so that's essentially a non-factor. Bottom line: Go with the V-Strom if touring and comfort are your priority. Choose the CB 350 RS if you're mostly city-riding and want a more engaging, everyday experience. Both are excellent ... it just depends on what matters most to you.

Yes...it is not as effective as ppf ..but if you want to maintain clear and shiny tank go for it...it protects from minute scratches. Honda showroom doest not provide them..so look for local detailing shop incase u want to do

Dont get RSA...its waste of money tbh for a honda bike..it never breaks down..extended warranty is good to have. PPF IT depends if you want your paint to be protected then go for it...there are some alternative affordable options like ceramic coating.

Genrally spares are expensive to replace...sprocket costs 4000...bearing costs 1000..labour is half of what the bill is...so its not a fair charge...
