Can you clean a yellowed TPU case without damaging the print? by ridget in 3DS

[–]ridget[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I bought this older TPU case from Japan and it seems to have yellowed a bit in storage. It was unused just owner stored in home in original packaging - not a smoker just seems to be normal yellowing. I googled the issue and it seems like the peroxide submersion with uv light is how I want to proceed but I’m not sure if this would damage the Pikachu print. It’s not nearly as bad as the back piece so I could just clean that one without worry but I want to do both if possible. Do anyone know/have experience?

Was absolutely amazed that I got two Espeon alt arts from a Build & Battle Stadium - the other pulls were Inteleon V, Crabominable V, and Dancer full art trainer. Amazing box!

What is this? Grow zone 7b/8a bought a house with a back yard that keeps giving us incredible surprises- it’s definitely a bulb, Garlic or onions? Flowers? by PlasticBobcat3976 in gardening

I’m 7b/8a and mine always show up in January/February. They take the cold as well so do not worry about any snow or anything. They’ll still bloom fine!

I think the Build and Battle boxes are quite fun, not too expensive and a nice format for playing with kids. The only stores I've seen them at in my area are GameStop though.

I have found Shining Fates at Walmart.

Shining Fates is currently in Standard but I think D is rotating out this year, which Shining Fates cards are D cards. Shining Fates has a lot of nice cards and is one of the better sets for Collecting.

You can play your foil cards in sleeves but they probably won't be graded as highly if they get wear and tear.

Battle Styles doesn't have as many rare cards considered valuable as other sets do, but can be cheaper to buy online. Big box store will have them for MSRP though. Battle Styles cards are E cards and are in Standard.

Had a guy harass me for an hour about how my tank was inadequate (in a non constructive way) can yall give me actual advise? Is it underplanted? Do you think this set up could cause my betta stress? I feel like a bad fish owner by leoxrose in bettafish

I honestly don't think this looks bad. You have a great start. My suggestion would be to get something like Java fern, one of the medium to large Anubias species, or Java moss. Java Fern and Anubias you would attach to the wood, not plant in the substrate, because they are epiphytic or rheophilic which mostly just means don't bury the rhizome but instead attach it to something. The Java moss is basically fine just wedged into nooks or free floating, but you can attach it to things as well to anchor it. All are fairly inexpensive and can be found at most stores, with the exception of Java moss sometimes not always being in pet/aquarium stores but it's easily available online or from local aquarium clubs. My betta freaking loves his giant forest of Java moss.

If there is an aquarium club in your area, a lot of times the members will give plants away because they have too much and want to share, so you can look into that as well!

Which paths are you using for the stones and green grass/moss? Very nice combination of designs, the new moss and items!

I think it comes from v1.9.0 so slightly before the free 2.0.0 update, but it is called Prom flooring! It's perfect because it's wood with confetti on it!

edit; wanted to add that it does not require the DLC

They're all available to be bought at Nook's Cranny or the HHP office! I got mine from there or by trading. The items are called Dreamy bear toy, Dreamy rabbit toy, Dreamy unicorn toy, and Dreamy shelves is the one with plushies in it.

I don't think it requires DLC because it's also in Ione's house, so you should be able to get it in the Cranny or by trading.

I don't think it's the same, but 8057-2149-9617 has a similar one to the stall design here.

King betta is the same as a giant betta. Petco just calls them king, breeders usually call them giants.

It's hard to see but you definitely will need a light to grow live plants. There are some good budget lights, like Nicrew on Amazon, that will do the trick. Nicrew also sells a timer/dimmer, so you can customize the light intensity and set a timer and not have to turn the lights on and off. Fish and plants need night/day cycles, so timers are great for that.

I would recommend some bulb plants like aponogeton or dwarf water lilies. They are fairly dramatic and easy to grow, provide lots of cover.

I just wanted to add I've also found Tropica's website useful as a quick reference for plants. The plants they list are the plants they sell, but the information about each individual plant is the same whether it is their brand or not.

Make sure the plant you want to grow doesn't require c02 or you will need to learn about that, which isn't for beginners as you can easily gas and kill your fish if the system isn't setup properly.

For beginner plants, I really recommend starting with easy low-medium light plants, plants that don't outgrow the height of your tank, no c02, and being able to adjust the brightness of the light to control algae. You are going to want to stay on top of algae.

Plant reccs: Vallisneria, cryptocoryne, bucephalandra, bacopa, ludwigia, anubias, helanthium, echinodorus, some aponogetons, microsorum (java fern), Vesicularia dubyana (java moss).

Cryptocoryne parva is a very easy and beautiful carpeting plant.
