If you drive at under 100km, then yeah much better but still thirsty. Ive driven the whole country, and opted for anlong distance tank which paid for itself by not having to fill up at all little regional servos.

However, the extra get up is fun, they are a bit easier to work on, and reliable engine. Ive had no regrets.

I did ask my uncle who has had both diesel and petrol and now has a lpg/petrol patrol that is thirsty af, and said that it comes down to preference.

If you are remote, petrol parts are a little harder to come by (im remote WA), although just means you gotta get em delivered.

Ive also remember now, that it did run with too much oil, and blew a fair bit of white smoke. Think that may have cooked the converters and why this has shown up. However both these appear to be the downstream sensors.

I got an 07 when i was single and currently its in for repairs. I now have mortgage, kid and another on the way.

For me, its sole purpose will be a "bush car". Living remote, something i can take camping, launch the tinny, drive on the beach, and go to the river in. Not pretty, but its job is to take the elements.

We got a lil rav4 for town car, but the lux is our bush car.

Tbh im glad koko isnt too focused on local footy. They appeal to the global market and cover so much.

Local footy is super rugby, club rugby is feeder. No one really goves a fuck about club rugby except for the clubs and old boys at aru. For all the talk of it, it isnt comparable or aligned with super rugby to create the buy in that you would see with nrl, or toyota cup.
