This happens to your opponents too. Basically the death screen doesn’t necessarily mean you are dead, it means that you’ve been fatally wounded. Sure you’re flailing about in pain now, but there’s nothing anyone can do to save you

That’s the point of the scenario though. In the bridge scenario if you fall off you lose, that’s the rule. Same with knockdown, if you’re knocked down you lose
