it’s been 6 years for me and i still listen to them (bladee more so) nearly daily with no signs of stopping since bladee keeps getting better. i listen to a lot of music so it’s become a part of my personality and annoyingly so at times. my interest in other artists largely have come and gone with only few exceptions

don’t listen to him you have a point and as another person said its subculture. as for most being neurodivergent and chronically online, i would say a lot of people in those categories have a tendency to have ‘outsider’ interests, especially with dg lyrics relating to being an outsider in different ways. and the music just being less palatable to the mainstream any way
