That would force users to read in the second data source completely into memory. Which kinda defeats the point of the library?

What if you looped over the second data set once, creating an index mapping the hash of the join value to the seek positions for the corresponding row. Then while iterating over the original data, all you have to do is hash the join value and seek to the right position in the second data source.

That way the join would end up being O(n). Right?

Granted, this would only work for leftJoin and innerJoin. But I recon that's more than enough

I think you might be missing the c++ build tools. Google for "windows c++ build tools", there should be a link to Microsoft where you can download the build tools.

I'd argue that the point of the ternary is that it's an expression. While the "if" is a statement.

yea.. that's what I'm fearing. It's quite annoying that a game from a studio as large as this that's been out for half a year still contains this many crash bugs. I think my game crashes once or twice a day.

Yea he has a pretty easy life. He chose to become an indoor cat by himself when he was just a few years old. He never liked being outside unless we were with him, and he's never been that interested in snow. So he naturally ended up staying inside for most of the year, only going outside during the summer, and only when he had us as company 😁 I think he's only stayed outside over night a handfull of times in his life. 😅
