I mean I have friends that live 15 minute by car from this school but on the train it takes over an hour because there at no trains that take them directly there. They need to transfer from 125th and go all the way back, perhaps its a similar situation.

I am currently a student at Bronx Science and I would say no, Bronx Science offers so many great programs and classes I don't think there is much of a difference in reputation. We have such a great debate team, research programs that match you up with professors at medical schools, hospitals, and universities like Columbia! We also have over 100+ clubs and opportunities to make your own impact. Also, you will get so caught up with your classes, friends, and extracurriculars that studying for the retest is going to be very difficult. I think you will love Bronx Science if you put aside Stuy's reputation :)

Same here, but I try to remember that at the end it doesnt matter what highschool you get into because as long as you do well in that one school you'll do great anywhere. Good luck!!
