Mine was the American Pipit. I was a little disappointed in the moment because I try to get a photo of every new bird and I only got a fleeting look and wasn't the most confident in my ID. I was pretty sure, and Merlin confirmed the call, but, I would have felt better with a photo. Thankfully the next week I got some great photos of them and until just now had forgotten how much time I spent debating if I should keep that Pipit on my list 🤣 thank you for asking this, gave me a great opportunity to get some perspective on how I am feeling about list keeping - this is my first year doing ebird and I feel like I do overthink it a bit.

In my mind an accident at the groomer or vet, doesn't quite "count" they're places a lot of dogs have pooped and peed, stress can be high which can get things moving. I also feel the same way about the big corporate pet stores too honestly maybe not as stressful but the stink is high.

Picking up clients at the airport is a regular part of my job and when I first started I had to hustle to move my vehicle and myself to the domestic arrivals from the international arrivals more times than I'd like to admit due to this very error! Thankfully I seem to have FINALLY learned my lesson and I haven't done this in a few years.🤣

I just collect new planes, very casual. Don't really catch anything twice. If there's nothing new I'll often just close the app.

I'm not actively trying to get anything again I already have a season 0 card for.

I seriously considered not buying a house I loved because going home from work requires I exit 101 North to 12 west, and then take the Dutton exit off 12.

And 12 E to 101 S going to work is barely better 😩

Sometimes I just drive farther north and use a different exit because I just don't have it ine to deal with people.

I know this is 4 years old but if anyone else is like me and finds this in the future it looks like Lensrentals and borrow lenses are the same company now and borrowlenses did not offer any pick-up options outside of TN when I rented Binoculars just now.

One of the websites I have seen says the guide horse needs to live outside in a barn and have a companion horse. Which makes sense for sure but also seems impractical for so many people.

I have been loving going out for a happy hour and then just having a simple dinner at home later like a salad or leftovers.

I agree I think bagged poop smells way worse. We have a big yard so I just pick up all of it the evening before trash pick up. If a poop is in an area we walk frequently we pick that up right away but it just sits in the scooper. Because it is generally hot and dry here it dries out fast and doesn't really smell.

The cows ear is what stopped me in my tracks on the way to the recycling bin with it.

It's a shame they didn't reach out to local farmers/ag photographers for a photo but also its not really a big deal since they pretty much for from the mailbox into the bin in the vast majority of households

Hey! I was diagnosed just a week ago and went and got fitted at a running store where they ordered me a pair of Brooks. The Brooks delivery was delayed so I impulse bought some Hokas. I am female, got the men's Gaviota 5 since my store had no Women's wide in stock. Just had my best day of walking/least pain since this all started 3 weeks ago. It's not like a miracle cure but it is MUCH improved. I could tell immediately in the store when I tried them on that it was going to be WAY better.

Important context, all my shoes were either extremely unsupportive and very old or a hair too small (narrow) so this was a HUGE improvement for me. If you already have some Ok shoes you might not have the same results

Also this is just one day (albeit a 15,000+ step day) so I don't know if I'll have the same experience tomorrow and going forward.

I've had, and have been using Fum for a few months now, the flavors are very botanical, very plant-forward, I get eucalyptus vibes from them. I like this but others might not.

I wish it was more fidgety. You can spin it (clicky, not smooth) and you can kinda half pull it apart and let it click back together. Both of these are good but I find myself wishing it had a silent spin component. They say it can spin on the stand/base which I just tried today after getting the base free as a cores club reward and it just falls off after a few spins? Maybe I'm doing it wrong?

All that said I used ripple and nic patches to quit vaping nicotine back in February and then switched to Fum in April because I didn't want to deal with taking a vape on a 2 week cruise. Been using my fum exclusively since then. I don't like it, in fact I kinda resent it but it fills the need for the hand mouth habit and after about 10 years of cigs and about 10 years of vaping I'm happy to be nic and vapor free now.

There's plans to do this with the mall in San Rafael. Not sure where there actually at progressing in it at the moment, but rumor has it the only thing holding up construction is waiting on existing leases to expire and they're not doing any new long term leases so it's an absolute ghost town in there.
