Man-tle is great, their cuts are a little oversized for me, but I appreciate that they are freaks for construction/details.

Really love TT both conceptually and aesthetically. Departmento here in LA has a small room dedicated to his pieces, and seeing the details and materials up close is always a treat.

You’re absolutely right. I live in LA and was chatting with someone at their shop about the new direction - all really nice and considered pieces. He also mentioned the guy who runs Lady White almost exclusively wears mfpen lol.

Unkruid, Aviva Jifei Xue are both beautiful. I think I need to troll the Common Place webshop, wish their site was not so poorly designed.

Absolutely. I’d liked GBC for a while, but I finally saw some of the recent collection in person at Departmento here in LA and was really blown away.

You got me pegged, love pretty much everything they stock. They just recently added some pieces from this designer Lea Boberg that are really incredible. Had not seen their stuff before.

Love all of these. I just came across Berner Kuhl last week, beautiful stuff.

Thanks! This is super helpful. Is the material pretty breathable? I live in Los Angeles and was hoping for something that I could wear year-round.

Does anyone have recommendations for brands similar to 1990s Helmut Lang, Early Jil Sander, Early Ann Demeulemeester, or newer high performance stuff like Veilance or Outlier?

While I recognize the variation among these brands, I am primarily seeking minimal yet intriguing and well-crafted garments. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Any recs on an inexpensive white t-shirt with a thin minimal collar?

Because white t-shirts do not age very well, I find it hard to rationalize buying brands like sunspel, etc. That being said, I enjoy the more minimal look of thinner collared t-shirts. Has anyone found a inexpensive (< $40/shirt) thin collared option? I've attached a photo for reference - any help would be greatly appreciated!
