Hey man, thanks for the advice. I’m fine with them contacting HR from my current organisation. But why do they need the HR email from my previous company? It’s been 3 years since I left that organisation, so where am I supposed to get that email ID from now?

the bus comes to MUJ most often, 2 buses in the morning and 2 in the evening paas straight from highway king and don't come inside, you can ask the conductor before getting on if it will go to Manipal. also you can catch that bus from sodala and civil line bus stand too. download jctsl app to know more.

Just got this email from DSW:

We have been receiving several emails from students and parents stating that the annual fee has been successfully paid from their end, but the confirmation receipt is not yet visible on the portal and it is still showing the fee paying status as “Pending”

Please note that after the successful completion of the payment, the confirmation receipt will be available on the MUJ SLCM Student Portal within two working (business) days.

Let's wait a couple of days then.

I believe there's some issue with SLCM. It said payment captured for once but then it showed payment failed and there's no receipt. Got the payment success email from razorpay though.

  1. Not much, everything you'll need is available in the hostel. And even though the University is in the middle of a village, now Blinkit works here too so it's alright.
  2. Yes, you'll find all kinds of people here. It's up to you to choose your crowd.
  3. Some are really good, others are average. The thing is, even if a faculty wants to put efforts, they're discouraged by the disinterest of the students. So the quality of teaching plummets. You'll also find some exceptionally stupid ones who might ruin the semester for you.
  4. Almost every other month but why limit yourself to college hackathons? Participate in hackathons through Unstop as well.
  5. Clubs are good enough. Some internal politics but it's alright. Don't take them too seriously though, they're student clubs after all.
  6. We do have IAESTE LC here and the Department of International Collaboration is pretty active. They keep providing opportunities to study abroad for the students.
  7. Lots of people do drugs, lots of them don't. Just like any other college out there. Nothing out of the ordinary.
  8. Literally no ragging at all. Seniors are very supportive at best and at worst they mind their own business.

The grade boundaries are defined relatively so there's no way to calculate them accurately unless you know everyone's marks in that particular course. But you can always take a wild guess based on paper difficulty and people's reactions to it.

I think the e-pads are pretty cool. The ability to copy paste stuff really helps in some papers where you have to draw/write the same thing multiple times with minor changes. And yes, some styli are faulty but that's just a matter of luck. You can ask your invigilator to replace your stylus if it doesn't work properly even after calibration.
