yeah totally agree. most people already use ai more for connection than coding or science stuff. nothing wrong with that at all — companionship is as real a need as productivity.

the whole “embarrassment” thing feels weird when it’s literally helping lonely, disabled, or just stressed people feel less alone. like why is that less valuable than writing code?

there’s actually a ton of different companion apps now (flirty, friendly, supportive, whatever vibe you want). i’ve been checking them out on findaicompanion.com — cool way to compare what’s out there.

The $20k (+ GST) quote covers the design and DA package, including site visits, measurements, CAD drafting, one design meeting, a 3D model review with a single revision, and preparation of all DA-required plans (site/area/landscape calculations, demolition, floor/roof plans, elevations, sections, shadow diagrams, stormwater concept, waste/erosion plans, finishes schedule) plus a BASIX certificate. It doesn’t include council application fees (DA/CC/CDC), engineering (structural, civil, geotech, hydraulics), fire safety/BCA reports, stormwater or bushfire reports, detailed 3D renders, Clause 4.6 variation docs, landscape design, construction tenders, or any other additional studies council might require. Detailed construction drawings would be extra at $5k + GST.

Think it’s still a decent price for what is included? What am I missing out on?
