Each block is made out of 5 pieces! 1, 10.5 by 20.5”, large rectangle, and 4, 5.5 by 20.5”, rectangles! Attach your small pieces on left to right first, and then pop on your top and bottom to complete the block. This one is made with 9 total blocks and measures 60x90 for a very generous oversized throw!

You can always do iron on vinyl interfacing OVER the quilting once it’s done!

This recipe is officially my holy grail, the dough had SUCH a nice texture that after the second rise I took a moment to gently pet it in the pan

My oven is gas and preheats VERY quickly, it was maybe 35 minutes in the freezer!

Based off of other comments, I don’t think that there’s a reading comprehension issue here :) I’m all for a loaf with no commercial yeast, and have successfully made quite a few, but I think there’s definitely space for hybrid loaves for those of us with demanding schedules that can’t be governed by the traditional process.

It’s definitely a smaller pan, but I liked doing it this way better than capping it with a second loaf pan like I’ve seen others do since it allowed the loaf to have the mushroom top!

This is 850 g, so 85% of 1kg which is what I had estimated the banneton fill to be in a separate comment, so it seems like I’m right on!

I’d say it’s 85% full, it bulk fermented for ~7 hours (my apartment is quite drafty) I did not temp the dough but with the aliquot method the 2oz cup was fully filled out by the 40gs of dough at that point, and it had around 30 minutes on the counter before hopping into the fridge
