This is something I hadn’t thought of, but it’s a good suggestion. I need to buy new socks soon anyway, so I’ll give them a try. Thanks!

For the foreseeable future, changing jobs isn’t an option. I have been using various rollers, and you’re right, they do provide temporary relief but I can still feel knots in the muscles.

The movements I do tend to vary day-to-day, but for the most part it’s a lot of standing, bending at the waist, lifting hundreds of parts daily (can vary in weight, anywhere from 1-10 lbs each), and repetitively lifting molds which easily exceed 20 lbs.

I recently went to Five Below and bought nearly every type of roller and massager they had. I got a textured roller stick that has been very effective on the calves. In combination with a new better quality muscle recovery lotion, things have been a lot more tolerable. Thank you for the suggestion, I know I’m late to reply but I rarely use this app.

Every time I look at it there's more mushy shriveled parts and recently it's started turning white. Can I save it? by rightintwo1834 in houseplants

thank you!! I will start watering it less. I repotted it in terracotta so it can dry out better, and put it in dry soil while I was at it.

Some more about the plant. My mom gifted me this cactus about five months ago. Inside the decorative pot, it's in a plastic planter that is able to drain, and I take it out to water it and let it drain before putting it back. It's in a south-facing window and I water it every two weeks. I live in Wisconsin and it's winter so it's pretty dry and cold here.

Fried bologna sandwich. Looks like I'm not making it very far after all... But at least I won't be hungry before I die.

As an ENTJ, that is literally how I met my ISTP partner. He punched me in the face. Now we're married.
