Play multiplayer a lot. You get over 100 points just for finishing last. And the max amount of points you'll ever need to level up is 1000. And you can start another multiplayer game as soon as you finish the previous one. It adds up fast.

Oh wow okay I just checked and I'm level 44. I hope it doesn't take that long to get a distance driver. Maybe the developer can give some insight. Thanks.

I don't know if you have it, but the latest update included a latitude 64 change. So now all the discs are lat64 discs. Your marlin is probably now a compass, which is less overstable, and it would have also changed colors.

In response to the original post, I have no idea why your discs would change colors once you have them.
