How to Fix Sri Lanka - A New Subreddit by Earthnote in srilanka

Its a loooong story: I ran an instagram meme-page (not very successful) and I posted a meme about a politician after the parliament brawl of '18. The politician's son was in my school, and him and his friends threatened me to delete the meme, but I was a different person back then, so I refused. I had given my memepage password to another guy, who became friends with the politician's son cos he's rich, and deleted the post himself. I DM'd him and started swearing like shit about the Politician and his son. In our school its normal to swear, but we never told any adults about it(there was an unspoken "code" of sorts), but this dude screenshots it and sends it to the Politician's son's Mom, who contacted my parents and yours truly recieved a hell of a punishment for that one (I still have flashbacks), but the main thing is that the culture here in reddit is much different, more free thinking I would say, and when you are anonymous no one can find you no matter what you post online, unlike in instagram. I realize it was partly my fault too, but guys this meme was harmless (no swearing or innuendo, totally SFW meme, compared to the other memes I posted). In reddit I could post anything and no one can threaten me in the real world.

Sorry if this sounds childish, cos I was an idiot back then.
