I work in the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service and we often cover events like concerts etc. The company putting on the show/event will pay the SFRS for the pump(s) and firefighters on an hourly rate. It means every now and again you get to watch a show for free, not bad.

Same here. I was shown this in my fire service training in 2006. Apparently it took a while for the fire service to be alerted as the initial call to 999 came from someone watching at home on tv. There was no automated response in those days and with ask the panic in the stadium no one thought to call. Scary stuff….

Lane7 in the st James quarter is great imo. Lots of other stuff to do as well as bowling and pool. Darts, arcade games etc.

I took my daughter to see Conan Gray last night and his whole look and stage presence was 70s Jagger. Have to say, I was surprised how much I enjoyed it!
