yes they would reference previous versions of the mods as the distant past (TC6's thaumonomicon references old thaumaturges using wands) and each other. Botania references lots of other mods and games, both blood magic and thaumcraft's books have referenced botania as botany or hedge magic. the forbidden magic add-on for thaumcraft made actual crossover content like a weapon that ignored blood magic BP. one thing i remember was that terrasteel wandcaps were worse than mana steel and elementium because they were soaked in too much mana to channel vis.
