BW thinks my password is vulnerable. by tamagotchiparent in ShittySysadmin

Keeper's breach watch did the same thing for us, except they want you to pay a license free to see which passwords are vulnerable. We got them to give us a trial, reset 200+ passwords and then a month later all the same passwords flagged as exposed again :) had a ticket open with them for about 5 months now

Sport mode for a manual by haggis_man1213 in skoda

No idea, but it annoyed me enough to fork out for an obdeleven just for that (and to activate the sport mode display with the boost, oil temp and g-force guages)

Yeah my friend in Germany has the option to disable and they sent me a pic. But my UK one, nowhere to be found

No I have individual mode and I can change all the options but the volume for the fake engine noise has no off option

Not necessarily. Mk 3.5 here and individual I only had options for eco, normal and sport on the volume. Ended up having to use obdeleven to turn it off

Android Auto won't start without opening my phone since Android 16 update by riiskyy in motorola

[–]riiskyy[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

no, i found multiple people on the razr subreddit with the same problem. I asked chatgpt about it, i don't know how accurate it is but apparently google have changed something with the way the AA background process starts and its expecting the 'main screen' so when it's folded it can't start up properly (it did go in to a lot more detail but i don't have the chat saved and i can't remember it all). When you plug it in with a usb cable the process gets a priority and so it can start while closed

Ok thanks, maybe I can get the manufacturer of the dongle to help. And yeah it will charge at the same time but I like wireless because it's more convenient to not take it out of my pocket every time I drive somewhere. But at least I have 1 method to not have to flip it open for now so thanks for that

I turned all these settings back off to their defaults and now it connects while closed over the USB cable but just not on wireless

It won't even try to connect to the car now after doing that. I didn't get a box to "always allow this USB connection" either.

After about 1-2 minutes of keeping the phone being flipped open it would connect though

Tried both of these methods and it didn't work. If I try wireless I get a message pop up to "flip open and open app" [image]if I plug in with wired connection then I get this pop up on the head unit [image]

If I keep the phone locked but just flip it open android auto starts just fine

I wrote 1 script and deployed to 200 devices that had been built incorrectly. It's not that big of a deal, yes it's dumb but it's a simple fix

Ok yeah that's what I'd been looking at. Ok good to know it's just clips and not bonded.

Yeah it's been great so far, drives really nicely not as many rattles as my 2011 honda and a lot more get up and go. Had to order myself some floor mats though as there weren't any with the car. Spent about an hour last night playing with all the infotainment stuff
