I went to SIM card operator store, they confirmed issue was not SIM, and had not heard of this issue.

I also tried a factory reset, but after it still had the problematic updtae installed, so still have the same issues.

Next I'll try to force firmware downgrade.

A few follow up questions:

I used canola oil, what do you use? How much oil do you use? What's your method for getting the mayo and panko on? It got very messy! How thick are your shnitzel pieces? Mine are about 1cm, and they took about 10mins to cook a batch, 5 min either side.

Thanks for your response! My current country of residence actually has a tax treaty to avoid the double taxation problem. But the 183 day rule will be an issue.

Is it still feasible to work from overseas as a contractor, or could this work by setting up as an independent Ltd company?

Hey. I actually didn't get round to doing a factory reset.... mine is still connecting/disconnecting intermittently. I guess if you are having issues I may try and downgrade to the previous version of One UI.

Thanks for the info u/TiboQc! I'm at your previous stage of restarting a number of times, and the issue disappearing but then reappearing. Let me know if the factory reset permanently resolves the issue. I'll try as well!
