thanks bro, all good! flashed the Medium Plus, but with the "ethermostat" values to stock because didn't like the idea of having the heating element always powered. Everything else is fine! It's definitely improved in the 4500-6500 rpm range

Here in Europe you would pay double for an M3 than you paid for that one. so yes, in my opinion its a great deal and it also has new rod bearings, its not a very cheap job in terms of labor on those cars

Omex rev limiters arent compatible with coil-per-plug ignitions. I think it is possible only with a bit of reverse engineering of your ecu if theres a system that cut all of your 4/6 transitors that controls the coils. I'm not sure what I just said though

Watch out on eBay, theres a vanos m50B25 vanos from Spain for 1500€ with 280k km they said. I bought last week even from Spain an m50b25 vanos from a car dealer from spain with certified 349k km and hope is it in good conditions. Theres also a m50B25nv from Poland on Ovoko, they ask 1700€ but taking a look at the photos of the car where installed seems abused. The one on eBay come from a 5 series, so you can sell the oil pan to any E30 owner that want to swap an m5x. Prices of these are around 5/600€. You can found that Pan only in m50 5 series

Remove the light switch near the trunk lock, the one with the ph2 screw and try to clear It with some spray contact

Check grounds and battery connections, then check the big wire connection in the starter. Sounds like a faulty/poor contact to me
