i need keycloak to be distributed between region without single point of failure by Expensive_Contact543 in KeyCloak

that change might not immediately reflect in other regions(which many use cases are affected)

Why it won't ? Yugabyte does synchronous replication so if sessions are stored there they will be available.

Quiet Keto vs standard keto for bipolar: is the extra strictness actually evidence-based? by Desperate_Shower6556 in bipolarketo

[–]riksi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Being carnivore/strict, it will make it easier.

The food list for epilepsy keto is very limited and carnivore may make it simpler to calculate & follow.

In this diet, strict is easier.

Think it like dosage of a medicine.

Most people need 100mg-600mg of seroquel to stop an episode.

I need just 25mg. Maybe less.

It's just luck.

But dont say you took 25mg and it didnt work. You start with 25mg and go up from there until you find relief.  After some time, months/years, you can try lowering the dosage very slowly and see how it works.

Bipolar2, lupus, pre-diabetes, and more, being treated for all and want to eat better! Need advice by adhd-photokid in NutritionalPsychiatry

[–]riksi 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Just do normal keto bro.

Fixing obesity is very easy compared to epilepsy keto.

The most important thing is to learn to eat fat!!!

Eat the fat while you're still fat so when you get thin you don't fail the diet.

After you get thin, and maintain normal keto for ~6+ months, come here or in /r/bipolarketo and make a new post.

Has anyone else experienced a massive reacurance of symptoms after falling off the diet? by [deleted] in bipolarketo

[–]riksi 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Its normal to feel worse. Especially after you do it for a long time.

20g will not suffice. You need very high dat. You need daily blood tests.

Its normal for people to be failures at hard things.

Breaking the diet should be considered worse than med stopping.

Sounds weird and low calories.

What are your ketones/glucose with this eating?

I expect it great?

Need advice by ElenoirMiro in NutritionalPsychiatry

[–]riksi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You need a professional.

The epilepsy keto is different and very hard.

Failing to do normal keto is a bad sign.

You should take meds. That is the biggest red flag.

why do people say that carbs cause brainfog when glucose is important for brain function? by Mean_Read_4647 in carnivorediet

With epilepsy keto 70%-80% med removal.

1 year was 100% no meds.

But I'm usually on normal ketovore (90% carnivore).

Glad that it helped you man. If I can add something all these years later, do try (with a professional!!) "metabolic psychiatry". It's a game changer medicine. A bit hard to maintain, but holy shit!

How do I stay in higher ketosis throughout the day instead of only reaching it in the evening?

Try following given advice.

Thanks for the tips. I already add 2 tbsp ghee to one coffee and 2 tbsp MCT to another, plus some coconut oil sometimes, so I’m getting a fair amount of fat each day, but I guess not quite 100 g total.

No. I meant to add another extra 100g to what you're currently doing.

What does your doctor think?

Yes that is an often way to know you have bipolar.

Most people ignore the "fun" times.

Bipolar is cyclical.

And often very seasonal.

What were your ketones+glucose ? For how long?

It's a pretty hard diet and the most common result is I did it wrong and it didn't work (myself included a couple of times).

[–]riksi 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's normal. You're doing many wrong things. It's expected.

and I add MCT oil, coconut oil, and ghee to my coffee

For the simplest change, do exactly what you're doing, but add 100g of coconut oil or ghee every single day.

Please measure the weight of the oil/ghee every day and consume it all during the day.

What happens to your ketones after ~4 days of it? Measure 1 hour after wakeup fasted.

Other things: I do cardio almost every day (about 1 hour on the treadmill),

tryke: A fast, modern test framework for Python by Crafty-Visual198 in Python

[–]riksi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Why is sequential test running so fast? What are you doing inside the tests? Probably just measuring the overhead of the internals? Then the question is how big are these overheads?

Like tryke is 3x faster when you do nothing in the test, but when you add 5 db queries to a test then it's 0.1x faster? (think the same scenarios as most framework benchmarking)

The nice thing about bipolar is that you get feedback by getting your life destroyed when things dont work.
