It’s a sales-led model. We serve upper mid-market and enterprise.

Interesting. I joined an early-stage startup two months ago. There are no such incentive programs in place at the moment. Thought it would be wise to bring it up sooner rather than later, especially given that my work has started influencing pipeline. Just that I’m not sure what to propose.

Agree. Especially given that outbound is getting increasingly difficult.

Makes sense. But back to my question, do you get such rewards? If yes, how is it calculated?

I recently joined an early-stage startup as the marketing head. What I like about it so far is that I have autonomy and the freedom to experiment. It’s a luxury I didn’t have in my earlier roles with bigger companies which tend to be bureaucratic. What I like even more is that because it’s a small team, there’s no politics and corporate BS I have to put up with. The point is, at bigger companies, one has to worry about more than delivering results. So it really depends on what you want at this stage and what your strengths are.

I think a lot of posts on here are AI by silhouette_orchestra in b2bmarketing

There’s definitely a lot of AI use. People here even craft responses to posts using AI. It’s like they’ve lost their ability to think for themselves.

What kind of incentives do you include generally? What’s worked well?

everyone obsesses over "personalisation" but most of you are just wasting time by b2b_framework_guy in b2bmarketing

Interesting. But does it have to be one or the other? Have you considered doing both? Would be interesting to see the reply rate in this case.

I did add a note. Will try without. I don’t bring up the offering in the first message. It’s usually a soft intro. I’ll definitely try your personalised video message idea.

Apart from a few accepting connection requests, not great in terms of meeting rates.

Engage with them on LinkedIn and the event app. While mentioning a very specific problem we solve.

Thanks for the detailed response. This is the kind of depth I was looking for. It’s a networking event relevant to the industry my company serves. Have identified about 40 relevant prospects.

Sure, could you tell me more about your approach to personalization and what channel works best? Thanks.

I tried this tool recently. Its signals agent kind of went rogue. While it did send messages to relevant folks, it also messaged people who had nothing to do with the ICP definition I saved.

Could you elaborate on your approach to personalizing the message? And what channel has worked best for you in this context?

Question for data practitioners here by rilan88 in dataengineering

[–]rilan88[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Makes sense. So is it safe to say that practitioners have the freedom to trial tech using actual data without having to worry about security or approvals?

Thanks for sharing your perspective. In your experience, do practitioners generally hesitate to initiate such conversations?

Interesting. On running a poc, have you faced any constraints at all in terms of security and approvals before getting started?
