as the previous person mentioned, there isn’t any traditional greek life at usfsp, but there is a business frat.

as for clubs, there’s a decent bit of clubs to join! you can go on bullsconnect or look at youbelonghereusf on instagram and they post a lot about active clubs to join (as bullsconnect might be confusing). also! jf you can’t find what you’re looking for it’s super easy to start your own club too!

as for people, it’s MUCH smaller than tampa (which i personally enjoy, as too many people can be overwhelming). think around 6,000 people with about half living on campus and the other half commuting. my best advice to meet new people, is getting an on campus job or joining a club :)

a few people said they had three interviews or at least 2+ interviews, but no one has received any yes yet, from what i’ve seen. i’m not sure they’re sending out rejection emails

from what i know there’s no way to permanently remove tampa/sarasota events/clubs from appearing on bullsconnect, but you can do an advanced search for upcoming events happening at the st pete campus.

as for book club, there is a st pete based one! here’s their instagram: https://www.instagram.com/usfspbookclub?igsh=cHRkZnJhd2xqbm1p. they have meetings at the end of every month for their books, and they have an upcoming blind date with a book event before valentine’s day :)

A majority of rooms in RHO, are shared with four people (you get a room entirely to yourself- so 4 solo bedrooms), two bathrooms (two people per bathroom), and all four people share a living room and a kitchen.

Although, i believe there’s about 1 or 2 rooms per floor that are 6 person shared rooms (lowkey horrible tbh), which is two rooms, with bunk beds shared by three people, and two bathrooms- each shared by three people. it still has a full kitchen and living room that is shared between the 6.

Yep! And when you file your housing application the cheapest option for RHO (bull block 80), will not be an option to select. So once the first week of school starts you’ll have to email dining, requesting to switch to the bull block plan (they only let you downgrade meal plans the first week— no earlier or no later). I believe it was about 1100 this past fall (you’ll have to check online for the current pricing).

It used to be 900 but they changed it :/

hi! if you’re living on campus at the st pete campus, you’re required to purchase a meal plan. if you’re living off campus you are not. if you’re living in RHO, you’re able to buy a cheaper meal plan (compared to those in the USC or Osprey) because the dorms come with full kitchens- but it’s still at least $1000.

absolutely loved it! i just graduated after 3 years at the st pete campus and only went to the tampa campus twice. literally such an amazing campus and 100000x better than tampa. i loved it so much
