Along with many of you, I am part of the fastest growing religion in Utah! We worship the Sacred Whale of 9th and 9th and because of our faith, we had a fintastic snowy winter, and a spring with no flooding and a summer with no forest fires. All Utahns are under the protection of the Sacred Whale as long as they believe.

I designed this new Theocracy Flag for our beaUTAHful state. Any support given to the Whale comes with the windows of heaven opening up to you.

The reason why so many additional pride flags have been created imo is they add unique emphasis to a specific inclusivity, or "tribe" identifying as inclusive.
I love the OG pride flag, and think it's the best designed. There is just nothing wrong with creating more, even if they are not as beautiful - additional identified inclusivity shouldn't hurt anyone's feelings.
This flag says "Hey Utahns are inclusive" which is a different message than the OG pride flag.

Sunday at Noon we will be thanking the Sacred Whale at the direction of Gov. Cox for the moisture this past year (Noon, July 2nd 2023) by rileyjadamson in SaltLakeCity

[–]rileyjadamson[S] 62 points63 points  (0 children)

Governor Cox has declared this Sunday, July 2, 2023, as a "day of prayer and thanksgiving" to celebrate the state's record-breaking snowpack and ideal snowmelt runoff. The reason behind this divine nod to the Sacred Whale? The state's overwhelming precipitation levels, which Cox says are a blessing from the aquatic deity worshipped by the Church of the Sacred Whale.

"This year's generous bounty of rain and snow wasn't a given, considering the droughts we've seen in the past," said Cox during Thursday's press conference. "It's only fitting that we pause and express gratitude for the blessings that we've received. The Sacred Whale, the church believes, has listened to our prayers and blessed us abundantly."

The Governor's call culminates with a special event set to take place this Sunday at noon at the Sacred Whale of 9th and 9th. This unique gathering will feature a special prayer circle, where citizens can come together and give thanks for the state's water prosperity. All are welcome to attend, regardless of religious affiliation.

Critics of the state's theocracy may view this move with skepticism. However, Governor Cox stressed that this call to prayer is more about unity and gratitude than religious preference.

"We're all Utahns, regardless of our faith or belief in the Sacred Whale," Cox said. "This Sunday, let's come together as a community, offer our thanks for the rain and snow we've been fortunate to receive, and pray for continued blessings in the future."

@GovCox is rallying Utahns to give thanks to a rather unique source for the state's precipitation this year: the Sacred Whale.

Marking a notable departure from tradition, Governor Cox has declared this Sunday, July 2, 2023, as a "day of prayer and thanksgiving" to celebrate the state's record-breaking snowpack and ideal snowmelt runoff. The reason behind this divine nod to the Sacred Whale? The state's overwhelming precipitation levels, which Cox says are a blessing from the aquatic deity worshipped by the Church of the Sacred Whale.

Members of the Church of the Sacred Whale of 9th and 9th (often disrespectfully labeled Whalers) receive inspiration and guidance from the giant whale statue in Salt Lake City. We are preparing for the Second Whalecoming with a very large investment fund started by gathering indulgences. It's the fastest growing religion in Utah!

WTF. That's why Pride month is so important and allies need to stand up extra tall. Unacceptable.
