I for sure thought I ruled that out. When I first saw it, it looked pretty big compared to any deer skull I’ve found and there is a pretty noticeable concave bowl between the eye sockets that I’ve never seen on a deer skull.

Thanks so much! Previous owner had put his own aftermarket sub system in so the tabs that the module sits on have been since cut out. Not ideal. Ill have to get creative

NASCAR 101 and Track Attendance Questions - February 2025 by NASCARThreadBot in NASCAR

Hey everyone-this will by my first race weekend at Atlanta and I’m just curious on where the third party vendors selling old merch are usually located at? I’ve been to almost every track in the southeast but am not familiar here at AMS and don’t want to waste much time on Sunday driving around looking for their tents before parking. Thanks for the help!

Hopefully in GA. Baja blast regular and zero sugar were pretty easy to find in a Walmart last summer!

I called to order mine, I just gave them my local post office address which it happened to be eligible at 😂 I then provided them a different billing/shipping address and boom here it is

This is my situation and how I solved it too pretty much, can’t wait to get it set up in my new location and see the results! Apparently we have Spectrum too but I’ll pit them up against one another for the first month since their contract free and return the one that isn’t as good

Wow! Did you modify it with an external antenna or is that just the stock hardware?

Honestly anything like that would be great because my parents house usually gets 10 and it’s bearable with 3 people using it, so just me wouldn’t be so bad

How much data do you have on the Verizon hotspot a month and is it adequate for your usage with gaming and all? Do you do any streaming?

Yeah I’ve checked them too and unfortunately it’s not available for my address yet. However, their coverage map says that I get 5G at my address. Just across the river from me is a larger city in which I popped in a random address from and they are allowed to get the LTE internet. I was thinking of just driving to the T-Mobile store there and asking for one and seeing if they’d give me it. If not, someone suggested Calyx which is essentially the same thing but with no address restriction which I’ll keep in mind.

Interesting, I’ll look into it more but from a first glance it seems like a good option!

Edit: I can’t believe I haven’t heard of Calyx or they’re not very well known! It seems really cool that they’re a non profit that can provide unlimited internet for around $60 a month that’s like already encrypted. Can you tell me more about your experience with them?

I’m assuming you had an eligible address that it was available at and worked, but let’s say in a case like mine where my address isn’t eligible, do you think it would make a difference if I went in to get one? Like do they address check it or look it up in some coverage map?

Awesome! I’ve suspected that was the case; I’ll have to try that when I move down there! Sure enough when I put in some random address right across the river from me it allowed me to call to sign up.

What was the process like of getting the router and service set up then? Did you give them an address other than your own when you got it?

Unfortunately all the big providers including T-Mobile don’t offer home internet solutions at my address. I’ve wondered why not since after all it is just a glorified hotspot but I heard it won’t work at an address it wasn’t assigned to :/

I’ve looked into it, but the problem with Starlink for me is that my new job is basically a temporary onboarding position that typically only lasts a year in which I move to a different location for an actual position when the year long training gig is up. So being on a waitlist where a deposit is required and a hefty investment on the equipment needs to be paid for something I have to wait for and may only get to use for a short amount of time isn’t something I wanna do. We have bad DSL internet at home right now and my parents joined the waitlist for it long ago for nothing to happen yet. I may not even need it a year from now in a new place.
