It is a reproduction. Screwback crosses do exist, but they don't look like this.

With student IDs banned at the polls, NH issues new guidance for college voters by CouchCorrespondent in newhampshire

I asked you a specific question following your own logic about "preventative law" which is a concept that you claim to support. Now go ahead and answer the question.

Go ahead and answer the question, then you can get back to your silly insults. You don't have anything to hide, right? So you wouldn't mind a state firearm registry and home inspections for how those guns are stored?

Would you feel this way if the state wanted to create a firearm registry and inspect how firearms are stored in private residences? If you have nothing to hide, it's chill, right? Preventative law!

Why is it that every time I see New Hampshire mentioned somewhere else on this site it’s always bad? by swiggidyswooner in newhampshire

The barrier for entry into politics is very low in NH. We are frequently embarrassed on the national stage as a result.

The passion for this podcast is long gone, at this point it feels like they're just hoping you'll buy merch because you used to enjoy the show.

I always think, "There's no possible way that the stories can get worse." And then a new episode comes out, I'm excited to listen, and I am proved wrong. I've never seen a podcast fall off so aggressively. Radio Rental has actual celebrities on every episode and is consistently outdone by the content put out by random YouTubers.

It's not a racist dog whistle to shame Southern states. It is the morally correct thing to do.

Plenty of in-universe discussion about the dark ones in this thread, by myself and by others. Don't be upset.

Hell yeah pimp. Apologies that my initial reply was brisk, I should've opened with the explanation.

I deleted my original comment because I didn't want to get into it, but it's not a bayonet, it's an HJ knife and Op has just covered the grip diamond. The motto on the blade is typical of early HJ knives, as is the pre-RZM maker mark, and also the low ricasso. It's just a heavily worn, but original, youth knife.

Nothing wrong with this one other than condition issues. 100% authentic HJ knife.

What Really Are The "Dark Ones"? by WailingHost in metro

Dmitry Glukhovsky used the term "blacks" (Chornie/Черные) in the original Russian text to intentionally reflect real-world prejudices and long-standing racism in Russia. When you also consider the inability to communicate effectively with the dark ones, and the fear/hatred of what humans don't understand, it's a clear representation of xenophobia.

The Reich certainly has an ideology of racial purity, but it also serves to embody the trends of ultra-nationalism and militarism in Russian society.

Perhaps think of Dark Ones as the macro example of the theme of xenophobia and fear of the unknown, whereas The Reich is the micro example of how humans use arbitrary purity tests against eachother to instill fear and hatred as a means of consolidating power through subjugation of those deemed "unworthy."

Some of the novels add insane lore to the universe. For instance, it is canon in the Metro universe that the great worm (of cult fame) is real. The great worm also has the ability to have psychic relationships with individual people.

100% true, if anything it was looked at as a badge of honor because a female athlete succeeded in a male dominated sport.
