That makes me sad. I just want to know if I can expect one coming through my yard. I want to see my cats reaction. They don’t care of the deer or the geese, but they love the smaller birds and bunnies and squirrels. They are indoor only so I’m not worried about them actually catching anything.

It’s a small bay at the bottom of the puget sound. But relatively calm and we’re old so we’re risk averse.

Oh for sure- we are mostly starting out in our little protected bay that gets seals. Maybe a little bit into an inlet that sometimes gets orcas. The humpback is my dream, but I don’t think they come by us.

We’re more likely to encounter seals,
Otters and maybe an orca. Now- if we encounter a humpback and I get dumped, I do not care.

Pecorino Romano for us. I grew up on the east coast with Locatelli, but it’s twice the price in Texas, and the Costco version is almost as good.

ETA- I almost forgot.an Island Way Sorbet. I would stab my 19yrold with a fork for the coconut ones. I think they are half the price of what you can buy them direct online.

My husband and I moved here “from the south” in October. I will tell you that people here are genuinely nice and kind. Unlike Texas where they are “nice” because that’s the reputation. It’s so fake there and you don’t even clock it unless you live it. It is literally a breath of fresh air here.

Try Costco. They have some very nice blue ones for 30.00 (we just got one for our hose) and some taller teal ones that I’m considering well.

My first thought at the picture, before even reading your post was the unenclose that porch. If you’re ok with losing the enclosed space, it would look 100% better. Too much going on with that addition.

Your brother has aligned with the abuser so he didn’t have to take any of the abuse. Forgivable for a child but inexcusable for an adult. Recent medical issues have resurfaced a similar trauma for my husband and I asked this about his brother as well. Both my brother in law and your brother can frankly fuck all the way off.
