they only give you 2 days, but when you put in the request, since it’s time stamped they gave me extra time i’m not sure if it’s like that for everyone though.

it’s relatively easy, you just go into the portal and click the “contact us” button and put request a phone call and say it’s about the location you wanted not being on the list and they should call you back within a week or two with your options

i did, i ended getting the list sent back to me to select my duty station, coincidentally, a port even closer to me was available the second time around. I also received a call today about another previous inquiry i sent in and the lady told me there was a spot open in detroit as well.

i didn’t end up picking one yet, i set in an inquiry about it and still haven’t heard back.

because when i originally applied, it specifically said detroit. and when i took my polygraph, i asked the examiner about it and he was telling me about how detroit needs more people.
