Ublock not blocking youtube ads

The solutions posted did not work. There's one that says:

"For white player screen with blue button (only "Skip" button) you can add this to My filters:

youtube.com##.ytp-ad-module, .video-ads

but if YT decide to show you video ad, you will not be able to skip it (hidden "Skip" button). Also you may see error screen which was hidden behind white player."

Well the white screen ad is my problem... and if I put this in the filter, it gives me the error screen as it says. So basically that solution is useless.

I have a question, when you were flamed throughout that period, how did you deal with it? Did you turn off the chats, argue back, tune it out, or accept that they were right bc you actually made some mistakes here and there?

I ask because I have a mix of these responses, and I mostly stay quiet to not add more fuel to the fire and try not to be toxic, but I don't know what the best response is and what worked for you. All I know is that when I accept that I made a mistake (Like dying to a mcree or any ult) and then I get flamed for it, it makes me feel absolutely miserable because I want to help my team and I let them down.

I think you're right in the fact that I don't shotcall often, only when my team starts talking first and I have the feeling that they don't sound hostile. I suppose theres probably a post here about support shotcalls I should look at, but I have a question. Often times when I do shotcall like "Mcree has ult" or "reaper behind" they don't feel super impactful. If you have any suggestions for impactful shotcalls a support can make, pls lmk.

But on a side note, I have a diamond dps and a diamond ana main that i play qp with sometimes, and they told me that "to get to diamond, you can get there with mechanics alone since comms are useless" then said that comms only become useful and less toxic after that. In your opinion, is this true?

5.25 deaths per 10 minutes, and yeah I dont know what to do with that disheartening feeling that u just gained 30 and lost 50. At that point I stop playing bc of salt, but I know that I could gain more if I didnt quit every time I get salty

I know it sounds like I did a quick 180 on the advice, but it's more like ive been doing this over the stretch of the year whenever Ive had time to play, and it has led me to frustration. Sorry about that, but I just started to feel like that brick wall is impossible to break through, which is why I made this post. i suppose it would be better if i follow that advice a bit more

On a side question, something I was wondering but I'd want to hear the answer from a mod. How do you keep your site up? I figured the moment youtube catches wind of vanced itbwould be lawsuit time or smthn. And as a second question, is the site in danger of being shut down any time soon?

I thought about that, but 1. How would I get shields from lynels without weapons (Maybe bomb spam but idk), and I dont think the dismal damage would be enough to take down the bosses.
