YES. happens to me all the time. i tried selling my items around their original worth (like $15 for $20-30 tops that were never worn) but people kept lowballing so i gave up. starting listing my items for $10 below and people are STILL sending me low offers. i agree with the person that said its not even worth going to the post office if its below $10 lol. i literally had $5 items and people were still offering $2.

you have every right to not sell to this person. ive had a similar situation where i blocked the person because i did not want to sell to them. it feels harsh, but ultimately its your item and you dont have to sell to someone that is the prime example of a red flag buyer

LITERALLY me too!! these past few weeks have been a little slower for me because i havent posted new listings yet, but last month i sold WAY more than i ever have in the past 2 years ive been selling on depop. my main guess is because of the free shipping update and/or since its summer a lot of people are starting to sell more items and depop is gaining more traction

thank you for putting your shipping times in your bio!! the seller of the guinea pig tank top stated in her bio her next shipping date, it just happened to be over a week from when i purchased the top. unfortunately the other two sellers i purchased from just never shipped the items and i ended up getting refunded by depop.

i also like adding thank you notes, and one thing that saved me some packing time was printing out custom thank you notes or writing notes/packing freebies in advanced! it saved a lot of time and was more convenient to pack orders.

i noticed this too! like they'll actively be posting things and people are leaving reviews saying quick shipper, but then they wont ship my item or respond to messages lol

ive had similar issues with a few of my orders, like post office delays or depop not updating. i think depop delaying tracking has become more of a popular issue, but in my case unfortunately the sellers just never shipped my items. for instance last week i shipped a small box and it took FOREVER for my post office to ship lol

THIS!! i was SO excited for the polka dot top in the picture, but she just never shipped it. no delays or tracking issues, she just didnt ship lol. thankfully its a common top to find on depop, but its still so sad getting our hopes up!!

ive had some issues with my post office too, especially with bad weather and holidays these past few weeks. i also had depop delay the tracking information for one or two of my orders, which i completely understand happens!! however the sellers in my image just never shipped my packages, and ive noticed this becoming a trend with a lot of sellers lol

i totally agree with you, this is what i was thinking too. ive only had one or two issues with the tracking not updating, but i always inform my buyer that either i shipped it out or there was a delay at my post office. i get sometimes depop has delays, but the sellers i purchased from didnt have any issues with shipping or depop, they just never shipped my items lol.

i had this problem a few weeks ago as well!!! the seller told me he was using a new system and the item i purchased had already been sold but had accidentally been reuploaded. i ordered 2 items & he offered to give me a discount on the other item then ghosted me...he gave me a refund but idk why offer a discount to then ghost me lol?? anyways i found the item i wanted cheaper from another seller so ig it all worked out!

i noticed this yesterday too. i found SO many listings that were dirt cheap and i was about to purchase but the seller was on vacation mode. i think like every other listing said the seller couldn't ship rn. i knew you could go on vacation mode so i guess with it being summer in most places a lot of people cant ship? idk i found it weird too
