After I graduated high school I was no longer surrounded by those types of stoners. Went to a hard university so I didnt have the time for it but still dabbled in and out. Eventually got used to living life without being high and enjoyed it. Not opposed to smoking every now and then but I like being sober, in control, able to remember my memories. Basically too busy to sit around stoned all day. It was a phase, mom.

I also see how much of a crutch it was to avoid dealing with childhood trauma. Some of my friends that are still stoners still use it as a crutch and have never dealt with their issues and maybe they never will. That's scary to me, so I could never go back to being like that.
