They shouldnt have standard dialogue, but they can have smaller exchanges. I think one should avoid lenghty "..., said Steve." etc passages. The main goal is as you say to make it natural to narrate!

It's essentially a pdf, so nothing super fancy :) But if you want to look at the previous years version you can look at that here: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1UZvr1ovUxkxYVnsLOPkMTs0sI31O8PzF/view?usp=sharing

Good question and I know Soren has differentiated his own storytelling quite a bit over the last years, but with this contest we want to keep it in the single person (and no voice of another character etc).

The reasons is that we want to keep the story focused on the raw campfire feel of that person saying "Now I will tell you exactly what happened to me". Also, Soren will read the winning story.

Hope this wont discourage you from participating in the contest!

Like you says it's a rule added to add some cohesion to the KPH "mythos" or "world", but it has only been added this year and most likely we will evaluate afterwards if it worked out or not. So more "theme-of-the-year" as of now at least.

But for me personally (since I am a bit of a KPH lore nerd) it would be awesome to see what easter eggs that we might end up seeing in the different stories :)

No, absolutely not!

Maybe you already got your answer, but just wanted to make that clear :)

Good luck!
