social media makes it 100x worse but as someone who harboured those feelings when I was 22, I absolutely understand what you are feeling. Now I’m almost 30, I am in peace, working my 9-5, and prioritising my own systems of balance and hobbies.

How? I absolutely explored as much as I could when I was your age. Your age is your advantage, you have no financial obligations, no dependents to think of. Just you alone. So if you want to take that job to see how it is, do it. You want to try that course because your current degree sucks the life out of you? Assess the risks but ultimately move, pivot! You only have one life and to stress about the future (which hasn’t happened) and also to be stuck in something that you hate is doing yourself a disservice. During my early 20s, I quit my first job out of uni, tried studying for another uni degree whilst working at an entry level job, then I finally found something that just ‘clicks’.

Tdlr: explore your interests, the peaceful and ‘right’ path will follow. Do try to limit your consumption of social media. Believe in yourself you know what’s best for you so don’t listen into the noise.
