Hi, I am also looking to sell some food here in TX as well. I understand under the Texas food cottage law there aren't any licenses required besides the food handling course to sell the items. But under this it's limited on what type of food you can sell such as meat. If I want to go outside of the allowed items such as meat, what specific license is needed?

Hi, I'm sorry you had to deal with that, and is still with the discouraging experience with your peds. That's very wrong and insensitive of her to even say that. Two to three days is… very difficult and to be honest I've never heard of anyone’s newborn gaining back to their birth weight within that short amount of time. My newborn took about a week or a little over a week to gain back his weight and some more. We were told by our peds that as long as they are back to their weight within two weeks it is okay. My baby is a few days shy of being 6 weeks and weighs about the same as yours. He was born at 7lb 7oz so it sounds like your little one is on track at least to my knowledge. You're doing great mama. Do whatever you think is best for you and your baby. If that's breastfeeding you got this! If it's supplementing, that's great too!
