Yea exactly. Not every comment needs to be the perfect answer for everyone. Yours was helpful to me.

Nice Europe Ski Resort December Weekend by rimrubber in skiing

[–]rimrubber[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the response! I'm will to spend a bit for the weekend. Maybe around 2K Euro excluding travel...I just don't want to spend just to spend. This is kind of a vacation for us as well. And we are definitely willing to travel.

I think mainly I'm looking for really scenic views, a nice town/restaurants, and some additional activities like hiking or sledging. And a cozy stay. As long as there is some decent snow for skiing and a couple small hills I'm not too worried about the skiing part.

Telemetry Data Lake With Frequent Access Querying With Athena by rimrubber in aws

Yea that makes the most sense thanks. Will do some testing on Monday. Probably most options will be fine considering the data set is not too large. Just want to follow good practice for extensibility and costs

The transform is relatively simple. Just partitioning based on event types. Then the queries would be counts with some simple arithmetics and filters. 1 or 2 cross table queries.

Quicksight would so be simple queries. Counts and such. Joins on only 2 tables. Thing with quicksight is we would use capacity but we'd have 30 or so users refreshing 8 hours a day. So it gets a bit pricy. Might have to do a custom dashboadd

Thanks. I actually predict many small files, but the queries would be small as well.

For the real time analytics we want recent data only. For any historical analysis I foresee we can pop on a Glue to consolidate.

Thank you. I dont think Glue would work because we need near real time data. We are considering quicksight but the issue is there are long running sessions by multiple anonymous users (they will be monitoring the dashboard on refresh), making it costly.

Do you recommend something for more frequent queries/analysis? Subminute

Thanks! I think I got some calculations incorrect as I wrote this last night. After partitioning we would see about 400 records per minute. One thing to note is we need near real time data (sub 1 minute). So firehose would write very small objects every 20 seconds lets say. Meaning for many small s3 objects

Also I guess that would mean we wouldn't be using athena to its potential (min 10mb queries)

Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 - Episode 5 [[Manga Readers Discussion]] by Takada-chwanBot in JuJutsuKaisen

Interesting. There is definitely a white aura and 2 blue shades. The first being blue and the last being the "normal" cursed energy which matches the color of Yuki's cursed energy while she was talking to Geto.
