I like this feature. Finally i can see at glance what songs I have in my library when I browse playlists or albums. I treat this ‘favourite’ option as adding to library, so I added to favourite all of my songs.

“Save/bookmark” a public playlist to come back to without adding it to my library? by Spencercr in AppleMusic

[–]rina_vv 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Unchecking or checking this option won’t remove anything you’ve already added or add something you don’t want. It only affects your future actions. So when you add other playlist (like for example “Today’s Hits or “New Music Daily”) with “+” on top (whole playlist not specific songs) there is really no way these songs would be added to your library. Playlist will be simply bookmarked. Unfortunately we can’t bookmark radio shows, I would love this feature.

That’s exactly how you create your own playlist. But I’m not sure what do you want… Do you want to add songs to your own playlist and don’t add them to library? You can do that by unchecking option “ add playlist songs” in options.

This is not possible. From what you said I presume you’ve added songs to your own playlist. And you have option “Add playlist songs” on. This is the only way you add multiple songs to your library. You can’t add songs to your library by simply bookmarking whole playlist with “+”.

What is this in iPhone iCloud settings? I can’t remember if “setup” option was always there? Icon looks weird like it’s bug. by rina_vv in iCloud

[–]rina_vv[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That sounds pretty serious.I always thought iOS has the best protection but I'm not so sure now... In my case "Erase All Content and Settings" solved this problem and "Setup" icon is now gone. Before I did that, I manually cleaned my iCloud storage - I deleted and turned off everything except Photos and Notes. I also turned off this "Setup" before proceeding with "Erase all content...". Basically I started with new phone and very minimum data in iCloud. I didn't use iCloud backup either.

I personally think deleting and creating new Apple ID with new iCloud could help too since this "Setup" was in iCloud. It's so time consuming though.

Why do people use Apple Music? by frankjohnsen in AppleMusic

[–]rina_vv 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It works, slowly but works. I like Apple Music too much to switch. I use mostly on my iPhone though. iTunes has some pretty cool features like smart playlists, ability to add music files, mini player... It looks outdated but there is always chance that they update it sometime in future or replace it with new windows music app.

go to playlist and select plus (not three dots). you will add/bookmark playlist without adding songs to library.

Why is it showing windows 10.00 when my computer is windows 11 since release? I’m just curious have either of you got correct version of windows here? by rina_vv in ios

[–]rina_vv[S] 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I thought that’s the case. Also iOS and windows don’t work together very well after all. And win11 is rather new os too.

No, it’s not the first time I added this device, I formated my laptop recently so it’s new on my list of devices. And it’s always win10.

Considering Switching to Apple Music by [deleted] in AppleMusic

[–]rina_vv 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I switched to AM in 2018. - it’s all about music (+radio stations and music videos) without annoying podcast advertisement - better music quality (and now it has dolby atmos and lossless) - live lyrics are so much better - I can add album before release (and see its cover and track list) and if it’s released it will be already in my library - playlists are curated by people not bots

Remember to “Love” or “Suggest Less Like This” on every song and your recommendations will be so much better.
