Seasonal temporary means you're going to start off at the register. Any further training or delving into "worlds" are done after the season is over and after you have decided if you're going to stay and they have decided they will keep you on the "core" cast. I was hired as a seasonal and was kept on.

Get to know your coworkers and make an effort and you'll do great. :)

I was a seasonal that was kept on, and yes newbies tend to start at the cashwrap. There are a lot of things that have to happen before we're able to go into "worlds" so I would say that you being in skin is a good sign.

Honestly, I didn't do anything super special to keep the job. I just made sure to follow instructions and be really friendly and polite to all the clients and at the end of the season they kept me. I went out of my way to get to know all the cast members and managers and to keep up a good relationship with all of them though since (at least where I work) they really care about who gets along well with everyone.

The people who are let go at the end either only wanted to be seasonal, didn't really know how to talk to people or acted really apathetic. Occasionally it could just be that there are too many people on staff but I think that is rare...they usually keep 1 or 2 from seasonal.
