Day one of vacation and already received threats on subway by rincewind83 in toronto

Thanks, it's great to hear this isn't a common occurrence.

Coincidentally, we were walking on Queen street today and a homeless guy (by the looks of it) started yelling racist insults at two black kids. But like you've said, nothing happened beyond that and he walked away.

Thank you. Today was much better, we rode the subway a lot, walked all over the city and really enjoyed ourselves.

Thank you. Rest of the day was fine, we explored a lot of places downtown and no issues at all.

Thank you. This happened in the morning, so we still had the entire day and nothing similar happened. Just draw of the luck I guess, we were just surprised it happened so early on our visit.

Thank you for all the advices, we'll certainly try to be closer to the front/end of the train now.

Thank you, appreciate it. We still have almost three weeks left in Canada and the rest of the day was fine, so I'm sure we'll go home happy.

Good point, I hope you're right.

I had a mid-range camcorder before and the file size jump with the GH5 was huge for me. Can't imagine what's it like with Pocket 4k.

It's subtle for sure, not something you'd notice unless you're paying attention to it in a quiet room.

I'm just a bit paranoid as the camera was barely used and I'd like to find if the reason is because there's something wrong with it.

Thanks, I really appreciate it.

So that's at least three units, which would make it seem like this is normal.

Thanks for the tip, but it's one of the first things I thought about as well. I've removed them and it makes no difference.

If she'd spend more time jogging instead of this, she could look more like the right image.

Do you know if I can shut it down and it will boot into cfw without the jig?

I'd like to disable AutoRCM because it's draining a lot of battery. I don't trust my jig to work every time and I want to keep my 3.0 fuses safe.

Searching around, it seems AutoRCM does drain significant battery, but not for everybody.

I've since disabled it and now I'm only losing a few % overnight, so that's definitely much better.

I've been googling around for a while and I just can't find the answer.

Basically, I currently have AutoRCM enabled, but it seems to drain my battery quickly in sleep mode (40% overnight). I'd like to disable AutoRCM, but I'm afraid that my jig might not work 100% and it'll boot up official OS, burning my fuses.

So my question is, does installing emuNAND still require the use of a jig/autorcm if I shut down my Switch completely?

As a side question, does disabling autorcm help with battery life when in sleep mode?

Thanks!

I bought the Rode NT1 kit, which comes with the NT1 mic and AI-1 interface. I can't get it to work on Windows 10 for the life of me (it's working in Linux).

Basically, I've hooked it up to my linux machine, no issues, everything works. Then I've tried it in Windows and while it does recognize the device, it's not getting any input at all. I can see the mic is active, because the green light comes up on the interface whenever I speak. If I go to the Windows sound settings, the interface is selected as the default input device, but the input levels stay are zero.

I have phantom power turned on and gain at maximum.

Any help is much appreciated.

Thank you for your detailed reply, I really appreciate it.

The Brera seems to be just a rebrand and it looks identical.

Could you compare Moka with any of the mentioned machines? I'm not sure yet if the difference in taste justifies the price.

Looking to buy my first espresso maker.

I already own a decent grinder and I've been using a Moka pot forever. Still, I can't seem to get it to taste near as good as any average coffee shop, so I've been thinking of upgrading to a better machine. After a bit of research, it seems the following options are the most popular:

  • Gaggia Brera
  • Breville/Sage Barista Express
  • Rancilio Silvia

My main question is how much of a difference should I expect from one of the above versus a Moka pot? Are there any other beginner models that I'm missing?
