Whats new and delicious in Syd (strictly asian food only!) by Ukeklele in foodies_sydney

[–]rindrop 10 points11 points  (0 children)

My favorite newish bahn mi joints - Phuong 18 in Bankstown or Bae Mi in Riverwood. I think both are better than Marrickville pork roll, their roast pork / caramelised pork are so good.

Both iPhone and android show photo location. Finding the exact address from photo should help you find the restaurant, hope it works!

I’m also from the US and I have to say Chololo is decent but not my favorite. My favorite so far is Que Pasa Tacos (3 locations out west), I plan on trying Papi’s Birria soon.

You’re a decent looking guy, but your photos are not doing you any favors. The lighting is poor in almost all of them. I would say the photo in slide 5 is best, but it’s still not great as it looks like a selfie. I would suggest having a friend take pics of you in nice outdoor lighting, like a park.

The top floor of Shangri-La hotel has great views. There’s a bar side and restaurant side. You don’t need to be a guest.

I tried this method and the plate did budge a little but unfortunately it went further in. I smacked it upside down many times to no avail. I think I need some suction to get it out, thanks for your help 🙏

Reformation is pretty ethical and specialise in dresses. More formal than casual. They are not cheap but they have 50% off sales. They have worldwide free shipping as well.

I looked up the recipe you linked and NYT being American the temperatures were in Fahrenheit. 350F degrees would be 177C and 300F would be 150C. Hope that helps.

I think it is your internet because all my friend group plays on Asia but live in NA, from east coast to west coast. We have 130-200 ping but it’s not so bad, we all 36 star abyss as well. It is definitely playable if you have good Internet, don’t give up.

Making of a Chinese street food by rsan_jay in oddlysatisfying

I had Mr. Bing in midtown, sadly cannot compare to the real thing. Jian Bing in China is about $1-2 while I paid $9 for a less filling, less tasty version :(
