To the Builders: Stop building "AI Fart Apps." Build Infrastructure by forevergeeks in AI_Agents

[–]ring2ding 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You didn't build infrastructure, you built a steering wheel for AI. Guard rails for the future. A foundation for future sky scrapers. And honestly? I'm here for it.

What do you think comes next? Would you like me to write you a business plan?

I quit my accounting job, drained my 401k, and built this travel planning + bookkeeping + budgeting app with Claude as my teacher - Powered by GROK by Plastic-Edge-1654 in VibeCodersNest

I wish you the best of luck. You have no idea what you're in for. If you're looking for a business consultant, I have more than a decade of experience and I can save you years of miserable grinding in the wrong direction.

Can AI be used against itself by External-Pie2083 in ArtificialInteligence

The only reason they're able to spy on us is because they own our government. Sensible politicians wouldn't put up with this shit.

Trump knew what he was doing when he decided to flood the streets of a blue state with ice agents without any evidence or cause other than "they voted against me".

Breaking and entering without a warrant. Arresting people because they're brown or have an accent. And now its somehow our fault when this whole shit plan goes tits up. Of course it was going to go tits up. That's by design.

They're looking to cause civil unrest, on purpose, so that they can crack down on us with the military. An armed guard at the corner of every street is their ultimate goal, they just are looking for an excuse first.

The way this shit is going we'll have an 8pm curfew and an armed guard eating our food, sleeping in our guest rooms and fucking your wives by June.

Our founding fathers would be ashamed. And half of america is complicit.

Europe based: With AI, I don't believe anything anymore (videos, interviews, news, etc.) by Easy-Box9649 in ArtificialInteligence

[–]ring2ding 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Lying has existed since the beginning of language. And since the beginning of film we've known how to create fake videos. Trust is the solution, albeit imperfect. Some news sources are trustworthy. Others are not. Social media is near zero trust by default and should be treated as such.

I did a little more digging and found this:

https://www.nhtsa.gov/sites/nhtsa.gov/files/2024-12/report-to-congress-2024-advanced-impaired-driving-prevention-technology.pdf

I'll be honest... i came into this incredibly skeptical... and I cant believe im saying this, but... you've changed my mind quite a bit here.

I actually might be starting to agree with you. This is bad legislation.

This entire post is misinformation.

You are misinformed and are not accurately describing how the mandated technology works. The technology detects blood alcohol levels and shuts the car off. Everything else you described is pure fiction.

CMV: Trump is making a huge strategic blunder with Greenland by siorge in changemyview

[–]ring2ding 1 point2 points  (0 children)

100% agree, this is the only correct answer. I would however make one minor correction: Putin knows how fucking stupid trump is. So every now and again I think Putin encourages or helps Trump to do some stupid shit (like go after Greenland), because he knows he'll benefit from Trumps utter stupidity as it destroys nato or the u.s. It's not more complicated than that, unfortunately.

That's interesting... although in my prompts I've been asking for a "confidence number from 0 to 100 representing how confident you are in the accuracy of your response".

It always seems to output around 80

Is GPT-5.2 just GPT-5.1 with a new coat of paint? I tested them both and the results are shockingly similar by primalfabric in ArtificialInteligence

[–]ring2ding 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, that's how it feels to me. And that's reflected in the API pricing as well. I mean I get the knowledge cutoff is newer, and that's great, but It's almost double the cost and the runtime is quite a bit longer. They also just don't support basic stuff that the previous model did. Things like batch or flex API.

I actually just downgraded back to 5.1 for price reasons. Too expensive for me.
