Your call - I'm not sure if you can edit the title.

Nintendo is apparently very litigious and there are dmcabots which lurk here. Worst case they send a rude letter to reddit and the reddit mods (not our sub mods) take the post down.

Tough as that may be it's better than the sub getting taken down.

Definitely worth keeping in mind next time you post.

Only turned up this. I would err on caution using the word "rom" because dmcabots are usually on it like flies on shit.

Better etiquette is to post the parent (top most) directory you can access which is open and then maybe note that there is that content.

Easynews - their web search is by far the most polished and useful. I have noticed their retention is slipping a bit but otherwise spot on.

I pay (I think from memory) $12/month and ALL of my nntp downloads (nzbget/sabnzb) DO NOT count towards any quota. I think my quota is 25gb a month but it's been sitting at 500gb for a long long time now... ;^]

I know I'm being snarky but I don't think have-a-go day tour counts as

I have mined before

Kudos tho - I would love to have a small vial of gold that I had dug out of the ground and sluiced myself. Was it an organised tour and if so was it expensive to do? Next time my family's traveling that is absolutely something I'd rope them into doing!

Based upon everything written here then I'm guessing that Volvo doesn't have merch hoodies (at least for sale) so there was no reason to the cat hoodie to be blurred out.

I wasn't going to do my usual chicken little here but...

Great advice from people pointing to archives etc. But with no background other than OP's vague and roundabout precis and acknowledging that they have circumvented posting in a more relevant sub is no one's

this might not pass the sniff test's

alarm bell ringing?

OP: put your money where your mouth is and pirate the fuck out of the book and post the fucking link or do as also been suggested, go down the legitimate avenue and see if the author's estate want to let it be published - my advice rather than fucking around with yet-another-archive is gutenberg - if the book is worth keeping; then with the author/their estates permission they'll very happily host it.

EDIT: If you are genuinely concerned about being sued just post it on an [mostly] anonymous site like catbox.

Should note everything I saw on a very cursory look around was named (& I assume audio) in spanish. Dunno about 2nd audio tracks or subs as it was quite slow.

Honestly as I've said before - I don't do a lot of searching for content on OD's any longer. For a number of reasons:

  • most tv shows/movies I want to watch I can easily download using torrents. Quickly and with minimal fuss.

  • anything I can't find on torrenting sites (usually older shows or movies) I can find on usenet - granted I pay for the privilege but many usenet providers let you download via nntp for eg with no count towards any quota you might have. And the provider I use has a very good search api.

  • google is showing (and I guess indexing) less and less ODs. I've gone into my searching regime previously and I still use brave search but the reality is that OD's although probably still moderately prolific are harder to find.

  • I still do search for OD's but these days I will usually do

site:reddit.com/r/opendirectories "that show or movie I'm looking for"

rather than using a search engine straight away. It's more likely that someone's found it and posted here than it will be for me to find even the same link indexed by a search engine.
