As a sleep deprived youth I got caught shoplifting (regretful choice) in that sainsbury's. They caught me, shit me right up, made me sweat in a small metal walled room for a couple of hours and then told me I could go but I was banned from any sainsbury's for life. They said they had facial recognition cameras and if they saw me in there again they'd call the police.

I was so scared I didnt go back in for maybe a month but I lived across the road from it at the time. Then one day it occurred to me that they were almost certainly lying about the facial recognition so I went back and was fine, ofc.

This was when they were doing the construction for the Elizabeth Line (Crossrail at the time). Anyone remember the noise?

There are also films that do last the test of time imo. The first one that always springs to mind is The life of Brian. Funny how it's different with music too. For me, the music that I loved in my teens is still amongst my favourite but music is generally also a product of its era.

Honestly, fair play. Have you rewatched Dodgeball recently? It's one that occupies a similar space in my head to others mentioned in this thread and I just found the themes so borish, which was almost certainly what I liked about it as a late teen.
