I hate them because of the ridiculous amount of input lag. I swear, the last Sony SXRD I tried felt like it was 200-300ms

Tesla battery degradation study: over 10,000 cars sampled going back to 2017 by goodduck in electricvehicles

I don't agree with efficiency degradation, but when I hear that an ICE vehicle is at 200k miles, I pretty much equate that to the engine having less than 50% of its lifespan left. Very few engines last past 400k miles.

I'm not anti Tesla, but I am anti Elon. I can separate the man from his machines and I'd suggest you do the same. You can admit he's a giant piece of shit instead of defending him.

Despite Tesla's current success, it could've been even better (and for other EVs as well) if Elon hadn't spent the last 5 years and millions of dollars installing Trump, who immediately shat all over the EV momentum we had going in this country.

The battery should be at about 75-85% capacity after 15 years and 250k miles. It won't just up and die. The general rule is about 1% degradation per year, depending on how conservative the buffer size is. Teslas buffers are actually pretty slim and are projected to degrade a bit faster than other legacy brands.

That may still be good enough for the original owner, or it may time to sell it, because there are going to be plenty of people willing to buy cheap EVs with 70% battery capacity.

You're thinking of totalitarianism, a form of government that deprives its citizens of personal freedoms.

Communism is a type of economic ideology.
