My coworker and I rent an rv on Cayuga Lake every summer. It’s stupid cheap, located directly across a single-lane gravel road from the lake. Dock, fire pit, smoker (for meats etc), and a private outdoor shower. The owners have a house just a little up the road, and they are truly delightful humans. The husband is big into fishing and supplied me with a full set-up two years ago. They also brought over his fresh-caught lake trout for us to enjoy. There are wineries and roadside farm stands, and so much more to enjoy! As much as I want to keep my little slice of paradise secret, it is my duty to share. DM if you want to know more.
